About 123 Glass Company – Safety-Focused Auto Glass in Omaha
123 Glass Company opened in Omaha in 2008 with one commitment: every auto glass repair and replacement is done the right way – clean prep, correct materials, and no shortcuts. Windshield installation is structural safety work, and that is the standard this shop is built on.
Experience, Training, and Standards
With more than two decades in professional auto glass, I’ve learned how much the details matter. Early in my career I earned NGA installer certification, and the principles from that training still guide how I work today: precision, preparation, and respect for the structural role of the glass.
When customers call 123 Glass Company, they speak with someone who understands every part of the process — materials, bonding chemistry, vehicle design, and the safety procedures required for a structurally correct installation.
DOW Automotive Training and BETASEAL™ Adhesive System
I am trained and certified in DOW Automotive’s BETASEAL™ urethane system, including BETASEAL™ Xpress30 and BETAPRIME™ 5504G. This certification focuses on the structural and safety-critical side of windshield replacement — the adhesive system that bonds the windshield to the vehicle in a crash.
For windshield installations, our shop uses BETASEAL™ Xpress30, engineered with a documented 30-minute Safe Drive-Away Time (SDAT) down to 0°F when applied according to DOW instructions. Every step — cleaning, priming, bead application, and full cure time — is followed carefully on each job.
Our Auto Glass Installation Process
Every vehicle receives a careful, consistent installation process:
- Full cleaning and preparation of the bonding surfaces
- Correct BETAPRIME™ 5504G application where required
- Structural bonding using BETASEAL™ Xpress30 urethane
- Rust treatment when needed
- Clean, careful installation with the proper tools and techniques
- Full Safe Drive-Away Time honored before the vehicle is released
Typical Service Times
- Rock chip repairs : usually 30 minutes or less
- Windshield replacement : about 90 minutes total for vehicles not requiring ADAS calibration, including safe drive-away time
- Door & quarter glass : most around an hour (some models require more time)
- Back glass : varies by vehicle design
ADAS, Cameras, and Modern Vehicle Systems
Many newer vehicles require ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration after windshield replacement. When calibration is needed, we confirm the vehicle’s requirements first and explain the correct procedure based on manufacturer specifications.
We offer dynamic ADAS calibration for many vehicles. If a vehicle requires static calibration or falls outside our dynamic calibration capabilities, we discuss the available options with you so the system is handled correctly using manufacturer-approved procedures.
What Customers Value
Customers appreciate clear explanations, honest recommendations, and work that reflects deep technical understanding. The focus here is structural integrity, correct materials, and a process built around safety — not speed or volume.
